Cù Lao Chàm Hoi An, Viet Nam: The Pearl Island in the Heart of the East Sea
I’ve always been drawn to islands. There’s something about the isolation, the tranquility, and the sheer beauty of these places that captivates me. And when I heard about Cham Island, a small archipelago off the coast of Hội An, Vietnam, I knew I had to visit.
A Journey Through a Tropical Paradise
The journey to Cham Island by speed boat was a delightful experience in itself. The boat ride was smooth, and the views of the coastline were breathtaking. As we approached the island, I was struck by its natural beauty. The water was crystal clear, the beaches were pristine, and the lush green forests seemed to stretch on forever.

Once on the Cham Island 1 day tour was visiting the Ông beach. This secluded beach is a hidden gem, with soft white sand and calm, turquoise waters. I spent hours swimming, snorkeling, diving, walking on the sea, and simply soaking up the sun.

I also had the opportunity to visit and stay at homestay the local fishing village. It was fascinating to see how the people of Cham Island live their lives. They rely heavily on fishing for their livelihood, and it’s clear that the ocean is a vital part of their culture.

In the evenings, I enjoyed strolling along the beach and watching the sunset. The sky was painted in hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a truly magical scene.
My time on Cham Island was unforgettable. It’s a place where you can truly relax and unwind, surrounded by natural beauty. If you’re looking for a peaceful and idyllic getaway, I highly recommend visiting this pearl island in the heart of the East Sea.
