Cam Hamlet Well Cham Island – Champa Ancient Well
The Cam Hamlet Cham Island Legend has it that the Cam Hamlet Well was built by Champa residents, inherited, and used in daily religious life by Vietnamese people until today.
According to old documents, it also supplied fresh water to fishing and merchant boats on the routes of ceramics, silks, and material at sea in the past.
It is in a circle-shaped structure with a diameter of 118cm. The wall was built with bricks, and placed on a wooden frame, and the water is always fresh and clean.
Is it one of the most typical ancient wells, and an attractive tourist spot in Cham Island. The Well was listed as a national relic in 2006.
