Ba Bach Temple Cham Island
This communal House was built around the end of the 18th century to worship the founders of the village in Cham Island, along with the tutelary Gods for people in their daily lives.
It is constructed in a typical domed style with a yin-yang tiled roof, surrounded by thick brick walls, and decorated with many themes such as ” Luong long tranh chau” (two dragons catching a pearl) and the unicorn.
The interior and altars are decorated with Han Nom parallel inscriptions which commemorate the merits of founders and Gods, as well as some paintings with lucky meanings.
Every year, the worshipping ceremony is formally held on the 6th of Luna June to commemorate the ancestor’s virtue and pray for prosperity and security. It was listed as a national relic in 2006
